Overview Accounting & Finance Manager | Outsourced Accounting Services at CBIZ CBIZ is a leading professional services firm delivering accounting, tax, advisory, benefits, insurance, and technology solutions to middle market businesses nationwide. This role is a full-time exempt position in the West Region (Arizona, California, Washington).* Responsibilities Develop and own strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders to meet all accounting and financial reporting needs Monitor the financial performance of clients Compile and analyze financial reporting packages Prepare monthly and annual operating budgets Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures Communicate financial metrics to senior management Provide leadership and support to accounts receivable and accounts payable departments Review relevant work papers and account reconciliations, including payrolls processed Review monthly financial statements, including cash flow statements Research complex accounting transactions and document conclusions Supervise, mentor, and train team members Network with industry professionals to generate new engagements Travel to local client sites as needed Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field Active CPA or equivalent certification Advanced proficiency in cloud-based accounting platforms (QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Gusto, and similar) Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree 6 years of experience in public accounting or related field 3 years supervisory experience Ability to manage all aspects of client engagements Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externally Must be able to travel based on client and business needs Proficient use of applicable technology Compensation and Benefits The annual salary target for this job in this market is $105,000-$135,000. The specific compensation will be determined based on education, experience, and skillset. This salary is not a total compensation figure.
