Job Title: Audio Visual Programmer/ Engineer (Crestron Focus)
Location: Cranston, RI (On-Site)
Salary Range: $90k - $120k

Tiello has partnered with a nationally recognized Security Systems Integrator in search of an experienced Audio Visual Programmer/ Engineer with strong Crestron programming experience to support enterprise-scale AV environments. This role will primarily focus on post-sales programming, commissioning, and support for large, integrated AV systems across corporate conference rooms, higher education spaces, healthcare environments, and command/control-style audiovisual setups.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with end-users, technicians, and project managers and can program, troubleshoot, and support complex systems with professionalism and confidence.
Project Types: Corporate Offices, Higher Education, Healthcare, and Large Commercial AV Deployments
Key Responsibilities
- Program, configure, test, and troubleshoot enterprise-level Crestron AV systems.
- Support post-sales commissioning, including on-site adjustments, system tuning, and end-user interface refinement.
- Perform a blend of on-site and remote programming work, depending on project requirements.
- Collaborate with internal sales and installation teams to ensure seamless project handoff and successful system deployment.
- Provide technical support and system documentation to clients and internal teams.
- Participate in occasional in-room system evaluations, programming changes, firmware updates, and hardware configurations.
- Assist in providing recommendations for system improvements or upgrades based on client needs and environment.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of AV programming
- Hands-on experience programming and supporting Crestron-based AV systems (enterprise scale).
- Crestron P-Series, Crestron MCP, or other manufacturer programming certifications.
- Strong understanding of AV signal flow, control systems, and room-based technology environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot system performance issues both remotely and on-site.
- Clear communication skills and ability to interface with customers and project teams.
- Experience with any of the following platforms: Q-SYS, Biamp, Extron, Shure, Cisco, Logitech, or other DSP/AV ecosystems.(Preferred)
