Aerospace And Defense Co-Op Position

Our Lenexa repair center services multiple customers and has the largest volume business in our interiors repair network. We service a multitude of aircraft interior equipment including catering items for galleys, oxygen systems, and both interior and exterior aircraft lighting. Our team is a melting pot of talent that has progressed through our organization in various roles as a testament to the type of growth we encourage in our teams. You will have an opportunity to work with various functions, and understand how they operate, and provide support for their processes.

Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January-August (including the Spring semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).

What You Will Do:

• Convert business needs into clear, concise, and actionable tasks developers and other IT professionals can understand and implement.
• Contribute to the design and effective implementation of new systems within existing infrastructure.
• Participate in testing new systems and features to ensure they meet user needs and quality standards.
• Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams, ensuring everyone is on the same page throughout the project lifecycle.
• Breakdown complex problems, and analyze operational data

What You Will Learn:

• You will gain knowledge of the innerworkings of business systems and become familiar with how programs such as ERP systems are used.
• How to successfully understand an operational or business need and align the functionality of the current business system to provide benefit.
• How to navigate identifying a new technology need, developing a plan for implementation, and successfully integrate it into daily use.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
