About the Role:

The Client Service Associate reports to the Operations Manager. Your role will be critical in leveraging both the Advisors and Operations Managers time as efficiently as possible. You will use your excellent customer service, polished communication, and problem-solving skills to confidently meet the service needs of our clients and partners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

  • Support client meeting preparation and follow-up including assembling requisite paperwork, report generation, appointment scheduling and post-meeting documentation
  • Address client inquiries regarding operations processes, account requirements, and investments.
  • Partner with Broker Dealer for new account establishment, account maintenance, and compliance
  • Process, submit, and service all account paperwork/requests
  • Maintain CRM database; ensure adherence to appropriate client service models
  • Build relationships with our clients and internal partners.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Manager

What You Will Need:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR ABILITIES: To perform this job successfully, individual should have the following skills and abilities:

  • Basic proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
  • Strong time management and organizational skills; able to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks at once
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Great customer service skills; positive, friendly attitude.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • You will have at least 1 year of work experience.
  • Financial services or banking industry experience beneficial.

CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Series 7 preferred but not required
  • Series 66 preferred but not required.

  • Ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time in office environment well lit.

  • Position is located in Rockville, MD office. Must be able to work in the office during scheduled work hours.
