Job Description WE ARE HIRING! AtkinsRalis is seeking a Cultural Resources GIS Intern to join our Tallahassee, FL office.

Our Internship Program,
Explore, is designed for college students pursuing a degree in a STEM field and provides opportunities to learn what it's like to work in a professional environment and apply what's learned in class to the real-world challenges we face every day.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Contribute to geospatial analyses, data creation/compilation, and administrative processes led by other AtkinsRalis staff.
- Processing and posting GIS data to online viewers.
- GIS-based study impact assessments/structure counts.
- GIS support for public meetings for public review of proposed changes to data.
- Attend weekly online meetings to report on progress.
- Georeference historic imagery and conduct general ArcPro Spatial Analysis
- Ad-hoc GIS analysis, mapping and support to client as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE: 0-2 years of experience in related technical field
- EDUCATION: Completed or currently enrolled in GIS coursework at the university level.
- Personal computer with GIS capabilities
- Introductory GIS Skills (Shapefile creation & manipulation, georeferencing, general data management)

Expected compensation range is between $23 - $29 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
