We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team at an insulation manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting raw materials, finished products, and other items throughout the factory using a forklift, while maintaining production flow and adhering to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload insulation materials, pallets, and supplies from trucks and trailers.
• Supply production lines with raw materials as needed.
• Transport finished goods to the warehouse or staging area.
• Inspect forklifts daily and report any mechanical issues.
• Follow proper procedures for storing materials to prevent damage.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with inventory counts and documentation.
• Follow all company safety rules and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
• Previous forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Comfortable working in a dusty, noisy, and temperature-variable environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
