Crossing Art, located in Chelsea, is seeking a Gallery Assistant to join their team. Experience with gallery and arts management, artist commissioning and sourcing, and a background in Art History and/or Arts Management is preferred. Applicants should have a demonstrated interest in contemporary art and excellent organizational skills. Requirements Assist in exhibition preparation, including installation, catalog and pricelist production, and opening events. Support daily operations: welcoming guests, answering phones, and updating social media. Good communication skills, working closely with different departments and artists. Liaise with artist contacts, collectors, writers, and critics to promote Crossing Art exhibitions/events. Assist in designing promotional materials for gallery exhibitions and events (catalogs, flyers, and posters). Create digital content for social media and our website.
