Job Summary:

We are looking to hire Structural Welders in MIG and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW). One will be responsible for fabricating and welding structural metal components used in manufacturing, and industrial applications. This role requires proficiency welding techniques, and quality control to ensure strong, precise welds that meet industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Welding & Fabrication

• Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) to join structural steel components.
• Must be able to work with overhead cranes, forklifts, trucks, and power equipment.
• Operate welding equipment, grinders, torches, and cutting tools to prepare materials.
• Ensure all welds meet quality standards, including visual and non-destructive testing requirements.

2. Safety & Compliance

• Follow all workplace safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Operate welding and cutting tools safely to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and free of hazardous materials.
• This position is listed as a Safety Sensitive position.

3. Collaboration & Communication

• Work with supervisors, engineers, and fellow welders to meet production deadlines.
• Communicate effectively to resolve issues and improve workflow efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; trade school or welding certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a structural welder, with proficiency in MIG and Flux-Cored welding.
• Familiarity with AWS welding codes and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality welds.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various positions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment, often in outdoor or high-heat conditions.
