Job Description

Salary: $74,000 - 122,000 per year Requirements:

• I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Sciences, Math, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related discipline; alternatively, I have a High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 4 years of relevant experience in place of a Bachelor’s degree.
• I possess 3 or more years of IT experience in supporting system integrations.
• I demonstrate the ability to carry out the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation.
• I have legal authorization to work in the country of employment without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities:

• I manage the complete cycle of interface application development, including analysis, design, specification, implementation, go-live, and support.
• I collaborate closely with application teams, subject matter experts, and third-party application specialists to ascertain business needs for interfaces, document requirements, and configure the interfaces according to specifications.
• I partner with external interface project teams to collaboratively create new connections.
• I work with internal networking resources to configure and troubleshoot VPNs with external interface partners.
• I engage with both internal and external teams to diagnose and resolve issues related to interfaces.
• I collaborate with the implementation project manager to ensure high-quality outcomes are achieved and deadlines are adhered to.
• I communicate challenges and obstacles in projects to all relevant stakeholders and members of management.
• I provide proactive support by monitoring live interfaces and collaborating with experts to deliver permanent solutions to issues.
• I define the transport method through which data from source systems will be communicated to target systems.
• I analyze and adapt both external and internal data into suitable formats for HL7 messaging between systems.
• I troubleshoot issues with data transport mechanisms.
• I interpret the defined scope and business requirements for each dataset when creating each technical specification.
• I possess the ability to understand data structures and document technical specifications detailing data elements and HL7 message structures.
• I communicate effectively and efficiently with both technical and non-technical audiences during meetings, virtual sessions, emails, and phone calls.
• I exhibit strong analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills.
• I am adept at analyzing data, solving problems, and clearly articulating solutions.
• I understand organizational requirements and their influence on the technical aspects of a solution.
• I thrive in a complex multi-communication-channel environment.
• I can track tasks, define next steps, identify responsible parties, and ensure accountability.
• I coordinate activities involving multiple stakeholders, including vendors, subject matter experts, interface engine developers, and end users to design, configure, and test interfaces.
• I can parse HL7 and XML.
• I collaborate cross-functionally to resolve complex issues.
• I possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with all levels of internal and external audiences.
• I know how to balance critical thinking with attention to detail.

• I support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.
• I consistently maintain reliable attendance.
• I can lift up to 10 pounds for approximately 5% of a typical working day.
• I am capable of working on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or performing typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
• I possess the ability and means to travel between locations in Madison.

Compensation for this position ranges from $74,000.00 to $122,000.00 annually. The salary mentioned is applicable to this role located in Madison, WI, and is full-time, with eligibility for bonuses.
