The Energy Investment Banking Group is primarily responsible for developing, structuring, and executing a broad range of advisory assignments and financial transactions. Our focus is on the energy sector with expertise in A&D, power/infrastructure M&A, private financings, joint ventures, and valuation services. Responsibilities: Take a lead role in the development of marketing materials for sales or financings Develop, produce and deliver proposals and presentations to clients and prospects, which exhibit broad knowledge of IB product solutions and underlying components. Actively participate in drafting sessions and due diligence meetings Contribute to valuation analyses and other financial models Conduct industry research and analysis to assist in the identification and/or analysis of investment banking business opportunities Prepare industry and financial analysis to determine client recommendations Assist in completing comparable public company, precedent transaction, and other valuation analyses Coordinate and participate in calls and meetings with clients and potential buyers Candidate Skills/Requirements: Relevant Bachelors Degree (finance, accounting, economics, or business preferred) Experience as a Financial Analyst (for Associate) Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Willingness to share knowledge and encourage others Positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to tackle any project Extreme curiosity to learn and develop both skills and knowledge Excellent analytical ability, including valuation techniques and practices Comfortable with and understanding of mathematical concepts (Top grades in college in accounting, calculus, statistics) Experience preparing high quality client deliverable documents and presentations preferred Extreme dedication and motivation; must be capable of assuming significant levels of responsibility for assignments to be completed within short time frames, both collaboratively and independently Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and writing skills to effectively convey ideas and information and actively participate in developing and maintaining productive client relationships Extraordinarily high level of focus on work quality and attention to detail Well-developed organizational skills to respond to shifting priorities on several simultaneous projects Able to effectively prioritize tasks, and manage expectations of senior bankers Calm in the face of a storm or adversity Digitally savvy, seeking out innovative solutions and embracing evolving technologies What TenOaks Offers People are our greatest and most important asset.
