Position

The Mail Processor is responsible for handling all incoming physical mail and fax communications related to beneficiary and Employment Network (EN) matters. This position receives, opens, sorts, and processes mail and faxes, ensuring that documentation is accurately routed to the appropriate staff or department for timely action. The Mail Processor also archives and maintains records of processed correspondence, following established protocols for document retention and privacy requirements. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal experience required.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receive, open, sort, and process incoming physical mail and faxes.
  • Route documentation to relevant personnel or departments for follow-up or action.
  • Archive and maintain records of all processed mail and faxes according to procedures.
  • Ensure all beneficiary and EN-related correspondence is handled with confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Support document retention practices and comply with privacy and data protection requirements.
  • Assist with general clerical tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 01 years of experience in mailroom, clerical, or office support roles.
  • Attention to detail and ability to accurately process and route correspondence.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with handling sensitive or confidential documents.
  • Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.

Must be able to obtain and maintain an SSA Public Trust Clearance.
