Employee Job Description
As an employee with the Aspen Clinic, you will be expected to be work in a cordial and professional manner. Your job is to be responsible for the office duties and educational, nutritional, and behavioral modification features of the program.
As an employee, you are required to follow the guidelines stated below:
· Be familiar with the Aspen Clinic program and procedures.
· Follow company’s policies and rules listed in the Employee Handbook
· Be punctual for work when/ where you are scheduled (5 minutes early is best)
· Be well-groomed and maintain a professional appearance.
· Give at least a two week (14 day) notice for any schedule changes.
· Introduce yourself and greet the patients in a pleasant manner.
· Be caring, cheerful, understanding, supportive, and courageous to the patient. Treat patients like you would like to be treated.
· Conduct the patient consultation in a timely manner.
· Be a phone professional.
· Avoid confrontations with patients, please ask the manager on duty to intervene.
Some examples of tasks required, but not limited to:
Non-clinic day employee tasks:
· Calling patients to confirm appointments
· Prepping charts for clinic hours
· Answering the phone and booking appointments
· Putting patients into the texting system
· Pulling PMP’s on patients for the next clinic
· Filing charts, making copies, making new patient charts, etc.
· Cleaning the office
· Counsel weekly weigh in’s
· Weekly injections
· Suspense calls
Clinic day employee tasks:
· Making sure charts are pulled and prepped for clinic
· Weighing in patients (booking future appointments, blood pressure, calorie plan assignment, etc.)
· Selling supplements
· Front counter check out
· Cleaning charts after clinic
· Restocking shelves
