ABOUT THE ROLE: Front Desk Medical Receptionist

We’re seeking a professional, friendly, and detail-oriented Front Desk Medical Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact, you'll help create a positive and welcoming experience for every patient.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a healthcare setting , values customer service , and enjoys supporting a clinical team in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet and check in patients

  • Collect and input patient information into our cloud-based EMR system

  • Assist with sending and collecting digital intake forms

  • Schedule and confirm appointments via phone, text, or email

  • Answer phones and manage communication with patients in a timely, professional manner

  • Verify insurance coverage and manage pre-authorizations, referrals, and clinical reviews

  • Process payments for co-pays, coinsurance, and uninsured visits

  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow

  • Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming front office space

  • Open and close the office as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • 1+ years of experience in medical reception or administration (preferred)

  • Experience with electronic health record systems (Genesis a plus)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented

  • Able to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment

  • Fluency in English required; additional languages a plus
