Position Summary...

Shape a category that sparkles.
As a Merchant, youll be the expert for Fine Jewelry (gemstones, gold, men's jewelry, sterling silver) advocating for our members while driving measurable sales, margin, and category growth. Youll build strong supplier partnerships, hold vendors accountable, and turn insights into strategies that come to life in clubs and online. Part visionary and part strategist, youll leverage the scale of Sams Club to deliver exceptional products, profitable results, and an elevated member experience.

What you'll do...

• Category Growth & Profitability: Achieve or exceed sales, margin, and inventory health targets for Fine Jewelry through strategic assortment planning, pricing, and supplier performance.
• Supplier Accountability: Build and manage supplier relationships to ensure 95%+ OTIF, high quality standards, and competitive cost structures.
• Financial Excellence: Monitor category KPIs, analyze market trends, and make agile product decisions (including markdowns) to protect profitability.
• Omni-Channel Strategy: Develop integrated plans for in-club and online sales, optimizing product mix based on member shopping behavior.
• Trend-Driven Assortment: Research consumer preferences, fashion trends, and market data to deliver compelling, member-loved assortments.
• Inventory Optimization: Reduce aged inventory and improve sell-through rates while maintaining in-stock goals.

• Execute Strategy: Translate the divisions strategic vision into a clear category plan with measurable performance metrics.
• Lead with Influence: Partner cross-functionally with suppliers, replenishment, supply chain, marketing, and planning to deliver results.
• Own Your Business: Make critical decisions on assortment, pricing, supplier selection, packaging, and supply chain flow.
• Think Ahead: Anticipate market shifts and member needs, positioning Fine Jewelry for both seasonal peaks and long-term growth.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...
