Join our team and help build something great. We're looking for reliable and skilled MIG Welders to join our production team at Raycap. In this role, you'll be responsible for welding components with precision and efficiency, ensuring products meet quality and safety standards.

Shift: Monday - Friday (6:00 am - 4:30 pm) with Saturday overtime as required.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

\n
• Complete welding of pre-fabricated assemblies
\n
• Visually inspect completed welds for size and quality
\n
• Participate in shop cleanup activities
\n
• Use job routers to log time
\n
• Work safely
\n
• Assist coworkers with other tasks as assigned
\n
• Operate within the requirements of an ISO 9001 Quality System
\n

\n
Job Requirements:

\n
• High school diploma or GED
\n
• 6 months minimum experience welding in a work or school environment
\n
• Proficient in GMAW and FCAW for mild steel
\n
• Read and understand WPS (welding procedure specification)
\n
• Read a tape measure and interpret fractions
\n
• Use basic hand tools (grinders, hammer, level, etc.)
\n

\n
Physical Demands:

\n
• The employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, keyboards or controls
\n
• Reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
\n
• Occasionally required to walk, sit; and may also be required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
\n
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
\n
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
\n
