Mining Industry Recruiter Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Mining Industry Recruiter to join our team at a North Las Vegas office. Initially hired as a contractor, this position has the potential to transition into a contract-to-hire role. The ideal candidate will recruit highly skilled positions within the mining industry or related fields such as Oil & Gas, construction, engineering, etc. We're open to considering highly adaptable recruiters with a proven ability to quickly learn and thrive in new industries. This role requires an independent and self-motivated recruitment professional with advanced sourcing and placement skills and deep familiarity with recruiting for niche, technical roles utilizing SuccessFactors as an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle recruitment processes for technical roles, including but not limited to geologists, construction managers, hydrogeologists, process & maintenance technicians, metallurgists, and planning engineers.
- Utilize SuccessFactors ATS to manage candidate pipelines, track recruitment metrics, and ensure compliance with recruitment standards.
- Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract top-tier professionals, leveraging job boards, social media, networking, and targeted outreach methods.
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers to understand specific talent needs and make consultative recommendations on candidate profiles.
- Screen, interview, and assess candidates to ensure alignment with technical qualifications and organizational fit.
- Maintain a high level of hiring efficiency while adhering to established timelines and budgets.
- Stay informed about industry trends within mining or adjacent fields (Oil & Gas, construction, engineering, etc.).
Requirements:
- Recruitment Experience: 3+ years as a professional recruiter, preferably with specialization in technical or highly skilled roles within mining, Oil & Gas, construction, engineering, or similar fields.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple requisitions, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Familiarity with SuccessFactors ATS or similar platforms is required.
- Experience recruiting critical roles such as geologists or engineers is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage stakeholders and candidates at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and adapt to learn the nuances of a complex industry quickly.
Work Arrangement:
- Monday-Thursday: In-office work in the North Las Vegas location.
- Friday: Flexible work from home.
