An OB/GYN (obstetrics/gynecology) technician, or simply OB tech assists doctors, nurses, and midwives during labor and delivery. OB tech duties include preparing and cleaning the delivery room and assisting in procedures involved in birth. They may also be required to perform basic clerical work and update patient records.
