Job Description

The position of Painter is responsible for prepping and painting signs, sign faces and cabinets.

DUTIES

• Properly prep a variety of substrates for paint
• Prep items for painting to include masking, sanding and applying bondo
• Paint mixing and matching
• Paint within a spray booth using HLVP guns
• Maintain paint equipment (spray guns, booth filters, etc.)
• Mask and disassemble signs/material for paint, sand, minor body work, rigging and assisting in moving signs
• Maintain clean and safe work area
• Knowledge of gravity feed and pressure pot systems

To become a part of our team we require applicants for our Painter position to have the following qualifications:

SKILLS

• Ability to move or carry ( with assistance) large or heavy material
• Knowledge of OSHA and PPR requirements for painting
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Organized, detailed and deadline oriented
• Ability to prioritize and follow directions per production orders

EDUCATION

• High School diploma, GED or the equivalent of training, education and experience

EXPERIENCE

• METAL PAINTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED or the equivalent of experience in autobody painting.
