• Resident Assistant – Personal Care / Assisted Living

  Evening Shift | 20 hours/week | Every Other Weekend

  Position Details

  • Evening Shift
    ▪️ Week 1: 24 hours
    ▪️ Week 2: 16 hours
    ▪️ Includes every other weekend

  • Pay Range: $20.20 – $21.85/hour
    ▪️ +$1.00/hour Evening Shift Differential
    ▪️ +$1.25/hour Weekend Differential

  What You'll Be Doing

  As a Resident Assistant , you’ll play a key role in supporting residents with compassion, dignity, and respect. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, ambulation, etc.)
  • Helping with mealtime needs in the dining room and during snacks
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to residents
  • Supporting personal laundry, tidying of rooms, and phone use
  • Reporting changes in resident conditions to supervisory staff
  • Accurately documenting care in electronic and paper records
  • Assisting with admissions, discharges, and post-mortem care, as needed
  • Participating in activities and events to engage residents socially
  • Promoting cleanliness, safety, and infection control protocols
  What We’re Looking For
  • A sincere desire to serve and care for older adults
  • Ability to work well under supervision and as part of a team
  • Kind, respectful, and patient approach in all interactions
  • Reliable, flexible, and able to maintain confidentiality (HIPAA)
  • Physical ability to safely lift, transfer, and assist residents (up to 50 lbs)
  • Note: Must be able to meet physical demands and remain calm under pressure in emergency or high-stress situations.
