United Talent is seeking a skilled and dependable Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems while ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations. This role is vital to supporting daily business operations and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and repair commercial and/or industrial refrigeration systems, including coolers, freezers, ice machines, and HVAC-related equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and performance testing on refrigeration systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, determine root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Safely handle and properly dispose of refrigerants in compliance with EPA regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients and supervisors.

Schedule & Pay:

• Hours: Monday – Friday (no weekends, no emergency on-call).
• Pay Rate: Pay is depending on level of experience.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• 2+ years of experience as a Refrigeration Technician or in a similar role.
• EPA Section 608 Certification (required).
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, HVAC systems, and electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in varying environments, including cold storage facilities and outdoor conditions.
