Position: Sales and Events Manager

Location: Annapolis, Maryland

Compensation:  up to $70,000 + Bonus + Benefits

About the Role:

An established private membership club in the Annapolis area is seeking a Sales & Events Manager to lead its event sales efforts and drive private bookings for weddings, social events, corporate gatherings, and member functions. This is an ideal opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about relationship-building, detail-oriented planning, and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prospect, sell, and book private events including weddings, banquets, corporate functions, and member events
• Act as the main point of contact from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up
• Develop strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless event execution
• Collaborate with the culinary and operations teams to create customized experiences
• Achieve monthly and annual sales goals through outbound outreach, tours, and follow-ups
• Maintain an organized pipeline and manage all event-related communication and documentation
• Represent the club professionally at networking events and community functions

Ideal Candidate:

• 2+ years of sales and event planning experience, preferably in a private club, hotel, or venue setting
• Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving repeat business
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills
• Proficient in event software and CRM tools
• Comfortable working weekends and evenings as needed based on event schedule

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary up to $70,000
• Performance based bonus tied to sales goals
