Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is ideal for Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) licensed with CCC or completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) seeking a dynamic role within a K-12 educational setting. Serving a diverse student population, you will provide essential speech and language therapy services that support students' communication needs and academic success.

Location: Detroit, MI
Duration: Contract for the current school year (CSY)
Schedule: Full Time or Part Time, with 35 hours per week (7 hours per day)
Work Arrangement: Onsite four days per week, with one day remote work flexibility

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 50-60 students
• Focus primarily on elementary-aged students while collaborating closely with the evaluation team to assess and support K-12 students
• Implement evidence-based strategies to address speech and language delays and disorders
• Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize therapy outcomes
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and planning

Professional Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology license with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or currently completing a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Experience working in school settings with K-12 students, with emphasis on early childhood or elementary levels preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with students and school staff
• Ability to manage and organize a caseload while adapting therapy approaches to meet diverse learning needs
