We bring together trusted and respected brands to create the premier integrated provider of Systems & Components, Digital Solutions, and Technical Services for the Vertical Transportation industry.POSITION OVERVIEWWe are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team supporting the EECO brand. This role is hybrid, with flexibility to work remotely but requires being onsite in Richmond, IN approximately 25% of the time.Reporting to the Director of Finance, this position plays a critical role in overseeing daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and driving process improvements.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESFINANCIAL REPORTING-Prepare monthly financial statements-Support site leadership with financial inquiries-Complete month-end close tasks including bank reconciliations and journal entries-Coordinate with FP&A team for consolidated reportingGENERAL LEDGER MANAGEMENT-Oversee and maintain the general ledger-Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules-Review and post daily AR and AP entries-Analyze inventory adjustments and cost variancesCOMPLIANCE AND AUDIT-Support external audits and prepare schedules-File monthly sales tax returns and regulatory filings-Ensure adherence to company policies and proceduresPROCESS IMPROVEMENT-Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements-Partner with external system consultants-Train and support finance staff-Share best practices at the site levelJOB REQUIREMENTS-Bachelors degree in Accounting-2 or more years of public accounting experience-2 to 7 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment-Strong knowledge of inventory accounting-Ability to travel up to 25% to site locations
