Description

TMG is seeking an Experienced Mid-Frequency Quantitative Researcher / Trader with a track record of success to lead an entrepreneurial initiative in this area at the firm.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated medium frequency trading strategies across all futures products with expected holding periods of minutes to hours
• Create and improve quantitative models for predicting futures prices
• Build out and improve our signals library
• Collaborate within a group and across the firm to improve our backtester and other necessary tools to build a sustainable trading business (desk)

Requirements

• Must have experience successfully developing quantitative models for profitable trading
• Breadth and depth in mathematical background
• Demonstrated passion for financial markets and market microstructure
• Strong numerical programming skills in Python; industry C++ experience is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment
• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in technical field and relevant industry experience
