Woodblock is hiring an experienced server-bartender to join our bar team. Woodblock is a busy, creative cocktail bar and restaurant with a close-knit team that takes the work seriously and genuinely enjoys doing it together. This is a true hybrid position. You must be comfortable and happy working both bartending and serving shifts. This is not a bartender-only role and not a serving job with occasional bar coverage.
We are a high-end cocktail and whiskey bar with a demanding service well and a high labor prep program. We're looking for people who can step in and execute cleanly.
Applicants should have at least 3 years of bartending experience in a cocktail-focused environment. You must be able to jump into a busy service well and produce specialty cocktails efficiently, including foams, gels, infusions, and detailed garnishes. Significant bar prep is part of this role.
When working serving shifts, strong floor awareness and elevated hospitality are expected. Applicants who are unwilling to serve should not apply.
Weekend availability is required. Evening and late-night comfort is essential.
This is not an entry-level position. We will ask technical and process-based questions during interviews.
