Job Description

EHC is currently looking for a Shipping Coordinator for a client in the east Houston, TX area.

Job Duties:

• Day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping & communicate with supervisor
• Correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, status updates, etc.
• Unload, uncrate, or unpack materials and transport to designated inventory location or proper disposal area using forklift or by hand as appropriate
• Perform computer transactions, including input of material receipts, cycle counts, stock adjustments, etc.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and protocols
• Maintain high standards of organization and cleanliness
• Perform safe work practices as well as safe operation of vehicles and equipment
• Complete all required safety training including working at heights
• Complete all required training for forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift operation

Job Requirements:

• 2-3-year experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced
• A Team Player who constructively contributes to a positive environment
• Ability to communicate information (in small groups) to other employees
• Must be prepared to work extra overtime hours when required
• Knowledge of Shipping & Receiving forms & terminology (BOL, Packing Slip, COO, COC, etc.)
• Good legible penmanship
• Previous forklift experience
• Able to lift up to 50lbs.
• Experience with MS Word / Excel / Outlook
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, EPICOR, ORACLE)
