Job Title: Special Education Teacher

Employment Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: Starting at $50.00/hour
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our Rockford school community for the upcoming school year. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students with diverse learning needs in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct instruction and support to students in alignment with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Develop and implement lesson plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals.
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure successful student outcomes.
Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress reviews.
Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages growth, independence, and confidence.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field.
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Special Education endorsement.
Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities preferred.
Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
