RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work in a 45-bed Emergency Department with 102 total staff members
• Patient ratios of 4:1• Day shift includes 1 charge nurse, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, and 1-3 sitters • Night shift includes 1 charge nurse, 1 navigator, 7 RNs, 1 paramedic, 1 nurse tech, and 1 unit secretary • Work with GE monitors & EKGs, Life Pak monitors, and Pyxis medication dispensing system • Electronic medical records system is Meditech • Required to wear royal blue scrubs • Weekend requirements: 4 weekend shifts per schedule • Day shift weekend requirements are Saturday and Sunday day shifts • Night shift weekend requirements are Friday and Saturday nights • Perform typical procedures including reduction/splint, chest tube placement, accessing port-a-cath, blood product administration, and intubation • Ultrasound guided IV placement preferred but not required • Must maintain respectful, team-oriented attitude and stay calm under pressure • Required certifications: TNCC, ENPC, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI • No floating to other units requiredFacility:
