Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position on a night shift requiring at least one year of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population consists of laboring mothers and newborns
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 13-week travel assignment
• Provide nursing care to mothers before, during, and after delivery as well as to newborns
• Holiday coverage may be required as part of staff rotation

Requirements

• Active RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• At least 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) certifications accepted and must not expire within 30 days of start
• Must provide valid US Social Security Number and Date of Birth for consideration
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
