ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Job Description & RequirementsOpportunity:
\nRegistered Nurse - PCU
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Minimum of 3 years PCU, ICU, or Step Down experience required
\n• Travel experience highly preferred
\n• Patient ratio of 3:1 for days, nights, and weekends
\n• 9-bed PCU unit with daily census of 9 patients
\n• Weekend coverage required with minimum of 7 weekend shifts per 13-week contract
\n• Float required in case of low census
\n• 24-hour orientation provided
\n• One pre-approved time off allowed
\n• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
\n• Required certifications: BLS required, ACLS within first year of employment
\n• Preferred certifications: PNCC
\n• Arkansas or Compact State RN License required
\n• ADN required, BSN preferred
\n• Cerner charting experience preferred
\n• Must be available to complete lab requirements within 72 hours of accepting offer
\n• Care for patients including post-op cardiac surgeries, vascular procedures, CHF exacerbation, COPD exacerbation, and other medical conditions
\n• Perform special procedures including cardioversions, trache care, central monitoring, and moderate sedation
\n• Work with specialized equipment including monitors and Zoll defibrillators
\n• Position designated as safety sensitive under Arkansas Act 593

The organization provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation services to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
