Huntington Learning Center in Glen Ellyn, IL is hiring tutors for K-12 instruction in Reading, Writing, or Math. We are looking for dedicated teachers to help our students reach a brighter future!

Job Requirements:

• Part-time evening and/or weekend availability.
• College degree required.
• Teaching certification required; Type 09 teaching certification is a plus, but is not required for those with Mathematics, Reading, or Writing expertise (verified by completion of an assessment test).
• Willingness to commute to Bloomingdale location at 357 W. Army Trail Rd. Suite 26, Bloomingdale IL, 60108.

Experience:

• Relevant: 1 year (Preferred).
• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred).

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities include, teaching students, implementing curriculum, communicating student needs to full-time staff, and creating a positive, supportive and interactive environment for our students.
• We offer paid initial and ongoing training in Huntington teaching methods and our highly developed curriculum.
• There are no lesson plans to create or homework to grade.
• Compensation is between $17.00 -$18/hour based on experience and the level of subject matter instructed.

Hours:

• Monday to Thursday. 3 PM to 8 PM.
• Saturdays 9 AM to 3 PM.
