Department: Warehouse / Operations
Reports To: Warehouse Manager / Operations Manager

Job Summary

The Warehouse Lead oversees daily warehouse operations and serves as the first point of leadership for warehouse associates. This role ensures work is completed safely, accurately, and on time while supporting productivity, inventory accuracy, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control
• Assign work, set priorities, and monitor workflow to meet operational deadlines
• Train, coach, and support warehouse associates on procedures, safety, and performance expectations
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures
• Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and discrepancy resolution
• Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners) as needed
• Communicate operational issues, staffing needs, and performance updates to management
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• 2+ years of warehouse experience; prior lead or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory processes
• Ability to lead by example and motivate team members
• Basic computer skills (WMS, email, spreadsheets)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Work in varying warehouse conditions (temperature, noise, etc.)

Work Schedule

• Full-time; may include weekends, evenings, or overtime based on operational needs
