Job Title: Industrial Painter

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to apply paint to various materials and surfaces. This role involves setting up and cleaning up paint equipment, mixing paints and coatings, and preparing surfaces by removing rust, filling holes and dents, and masking off details and components.

Responsibilities

• Apply paint to different materials and surfaces.
• Set up and clean up paint equipment.
• Mix paints and coatings.
• Remove rust, fill holes and dents, and create even surfaces.
• Mask off details and components to prepare surfaces for painting.

Essential Skills

• Painting
• Paint preparation
• Industrial painting
• Sanding
• Proficiency with spray guns

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3 years of experience and knowledge of materials and equipment.
• Current and valid United States driver's license and reliable transportation.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled facility equipped with two large paint booths. The typical work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 4pm to 2am, with occasional extended hours due to demands. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
