Position Summary:The Warranty Administrator will be responsible for managing and processing all warranty claims, ensuring compliance with General Motors’ policies and procedures. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong knowledge of GM warranty systems, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with service advisors, technicians, and management. Key Responsibilities: * Accurately prepare, process, and submit warranty claims to General Motors in a timely manner. * Review repair orders for completeness, proper documentation, and compliance with GM policies. * Ensure proper coding of warranty labor operations, failure codes, and defect codes. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of GM warranty policies, bulletins, and recalls. * Track claim status, follow up on outstanding claims, and resolve rejected or denied claims. * Audit warranty submissions for accuracy to minimize charge-backs and financial risk. * Serve as the primary liaison between the dealership and GM regarding warranty-related matters. * Train and support service department staff on warranty procedures and compliance. * Maintain organized warranty records and reports for management review. Qualifications: * Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as a General Motors Warranty Administrator (Required). * In-depth knowledge of General Motors warranty systems (e.g., Global Warranty Management). * Strong understanding of warranty coding, policies, and procedures. * Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in claim processing. * Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) and Microsoft Office Suite. * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
